Kelsey Huse

Kelsey Huse is an activist known as “Memphis Bicycle Girl”. Her experiences range from fighting the 22-lane freeway expansion and protecting bike lanes in Austin, TX, to advocating for clean air and transportation options and safety in Memphis TN. She is a fierce believer in the power of social media to influence public opinion on housing and transportation and has found success under her Instagram account @memphisurbanism (@buttercreamgang on TikTok). She is a May 2026 graduate from the Masters of City & Regional Planning program at the University of Memphis.
